28 Days (really it's more like 27)

There are 28 days left (well almost 27) until I get on a plane and fly out to Colorado for the summer. It's a new season in my life, a new experience, it's jumping off the cliff and getting out of that boat! It's listening to the voice of God and trusting in Him completely.

About 5 1/2 months ago I was accepted into Ellerslie School of Honor (now Ellerslie Training: Cultivating a Set Apart life).

About a year 1/2 ago I was lead to the set-apart girl website, searching for a song I had once heard.

About 2 1/2 years ago I found a song titled Sunrise, by artists whose names were vaguely familiar.

And about 6 years ago I had read a book, "When God writes your love story."

Had you told me 6 years ago what I would be doing today I am sure I would not have believed you, if you had told me a year ago that today I would be 28 days away from saying good bye to my family, 25 days away from leaving my job with no idea of what next and steps away from getting out of that boat (my reference to Peter) I think I might have shrugged my shoulders and said sure, yet here I am, 28 days away from all of that.
What I have learned is that nothing in life is chance and each aspect is carefully orchestrated by an infinitely loving God, who cares for His children. This new adventure I am about to take on I could not have scripted all of it seemed impossible, yet here I stand ready to leap trusting in God to catch me and direct each future step I take. A grand adventure doesn't begin to describe it!

Matthew 14:22-33
And straightway Jesus constrained his disciples to get into a ship, and to go before him unto the other side, while he sent the multitudes away. And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone. But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary. And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea. And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear. But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid. And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt? And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased. Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.
