Pitter Patter of Little Feet

I woke up this morning to the pitter patter of little feet; His Little Feet to be exact. It is so wonderful to have them home; the Victory Wing (which is where they stay at Ellerslie) is never quite the same when they are gone. They bring life to the campus!

Above my room are three energetic boys who I am quite convinced jump from their bunk beds whenever possible! (I love every minute of it! Or should I say every sound.)

I came to Ellerslie a year ago, and from the beginning plans to house the His Little Feet choir were spoken of. There was months of praying and preparation and then finally they came on November 15, 2010! I can't describe the love I have for these precious children, they bring to life the passages in scripture that speak of coming into the kingdom of God as little children. They have a child like faith that is so sweet; it is simple trust in their God. How we should all be like that.

And though it is sunshine and blue skies to have them back there is a cloud looming on the horizon and that is that on Monday they will be going home to Haiti. Oh how I will miss them (I can't begin to imagine how the Staff of His Little Feet and the children feel). And though good-bye is hard I know that my God is a loving Father who will bring comfort, they have great things to do in their country and in their home at Danita's! I am praying for their trip and their lives back home knowing my God will protect them and raise them up for His glory!

To 'my' sweet kiddos of His Little Feet, how I love you and will be praying for you!

"And how shall they preach except they be sent? as it is written, 'How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!" ~Romans 10:15
