Purpose

Five years ago I started a blog and since than it has been a hodgepodge of thoughts, adventures, living life, and lessons learned. I have contemplated deleting the account and starting over, but life truly is an adventure particularly when you are called to walk by faith and not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7); so instead I have realized that what this blog needs is a little repurposing.

When I started this blog I was single heading into many adventures. Now I'm married with a six month old, still heading into adventures just of a different sort. The mountains of Colorado are long gone (though I do miss them) now there are the beaches of South Florida. Lessons are still being learned, figuring out who I am in Christ and living out that truth is still daily practice, but now I have an amazing husband and a cute little coconut to share in the journey. 

The purpose of this site has always been to glorify Jesus, to make much of Him. He is the very giver of life All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made. John 1:3, therefore he is worthy of all my praise. But I also want to make this a place where those who read it are uplifted and edified. I want this to be a useful and practical space, so as I am learning I will share thoughts on living this life as a mother and wife, as a christian things that I have found helpful.  I find that advice and encouragement from other wives and moms... is so helpful and most times needed; may you find such encouragement here. 

Let the adventures begin!
