A Sweeter Song

This cool autumn morning finds me nestled in my room, with a pen, paper and my Bible.  I have been looking forward to such a morning for some time, to sit at the feet of my Jesus and soak Him in without the ticking of a clock in my ear. And to have my morning turn out just as I planned would have been wonderful, but my dear Jesus loves me so much that my time with Him has far exceeded what I had even wanted. (He is always doing things like that.)

My Bible was opened to 1 John, my pen ready to capture the words Jesus had for me today, and my computer was set to play sweet refrains that would lift my soul to Him, but as the music began to fill the room a sweeter sound drifted in from down the hall. It was the precious sound of children lifting up their voices to praise my God. Their songs swelled and filled my heart till it was overflowing with worship to the King of Kings. The songs I had picked out now paled in comparison to theirs.Words fail to capture how precious this morning has been and how amazing my Jesus is.

And to let you in on a little secret, what makes the songs of the these children all the more cherished, is that they were lifted up by a group of kiddos that have captured my heart. Before I had the blessing of meeting them they had already brought me closer to Jesus, through the prayers that were lifted up on their behalf, for that I am so grateful. Time and time again we covered them in prayer and time and time again my Jesus heard and answered! Their very presence in America is a testament to the glory of God, nothing is impossible for Him.

Welcome His Little Feet! I love you dearly, I am praying for you, and I am blessed to know you. I can't wait to see how you grow in the Lord in this year and how you bring other to His throne. To God be the glory!

Psalm 66:1-2 Make a joyful noise unto God all ye lands: sing forth the honor of His name: make His praise glorious.
